What's a "BLIXT"?
We're not sure who started the conversation, but as legend has it, in the early days, our co-founders were struggling to name our organization.
They had explored a wealth of possibilities, but nothing was really striking them. Then, one day, they were having a rather philosophical conversation about geography and fate. How had their paths crossed? How ever had they found each other? Becky is from a rural Nebraska town. Petra is from a posh village in Sweden. It was against all odds, but somehow...electric.
It began to storm. There was a flash of lightning. The kind that takes your breath away and makes you blink a couple of times.
Randomly, Becky turned to Petra and asked "Hey...what's the Swedish word for lightning?"
"BLIXT" Petra answered.
Boom.
