Ink Lab, hosted by resident writer and Artistic Director Ryan Furlong, is an eight week writer’s workshop aimed at collaboration, building confidence, and developing technique. This program is open to writers of all disciplines, be it poetry, playwriting, novels, and more. If you have a passion for writing, or even a beginner’s curiosity, Ink Lab is the place for you.
Ink Lab will meet on the following days in September and October from 7:00 to 8:00 PM:
The first seven sessions will be dedicated to workshopping whatever chosen work you bring. Sessions will always start with a group activity aimed at warming up your writer’s muscles, and the rest of the time will be dedicated to working on your actual project, either on your own or in a group with others.
The October 31st session will be a celebratory showcase where participants may have their projects read aloud in front of an audience. Writers will be able to either read their own work or have an actor do it for them.
